The course aims to improve students’ comprehension abilities and develop their translation skills of business documents. With the integration of the common business documents in the TOEIC exam and the real business world, students can become more familiar with the structures of different business documents, including memos, business correspondence, advertising, quotations, L/C (a letter of credit), contracts, Power of Attorney, Memorandum of Association, Articles of Association, and news on business and finance. The course will be conducted in the forms of discussion, hands-on translation practice, peer-revision, back-translation, and other interactive activities. 

After this course, students should be able to possess a wild range of vocabulary and knowledge of common business documents, and thus improve their comprehension in the reading section of the TOEIC exam. Most of all, they should be able to sharpen their translation skills.
