Weekly in-depth study on theories & practice projects of Visual culture, so each student in our class must completed their pre-study of reading materials prior entering to our class. Students require participating in the class discussion and practice design projects. This course of Visual Culture Research is a study of the relationship between theory and practice, the link between individual and collective. A study of different cultures and reading cultures through a variety of research themes, in hope to explore the depth and meaning of many cultural theories. The practice based project is to link with the aborigines community “Tung-Pu-Yi-Lin”, in hope to apply research students’ abilities to enhance their cultural and self-recognition process.
