This course is aimed to prepare DAFL majored students for academic content. The themes are integrated across proficiency levels which are articulated across skill strands. The teaching method combines communicative activities with skill-building exercises to boost students’ academic success. The lessons focus on vocabulary building and critical thinking skills in order to promote academic achievement, as well as testing strategies and practice for the development of invaluable test taking skills.
