This course discusses a practical approach to information technology and systems development. A special focus will be placed on the introduction of the role of the systems analyst in a dynamic, business-related environment. The sessions will consist of case-based discussion, as well as lectures and computer practices. Students will be expected to learn how to translate business requirements into information systems that support a company's short- and long-term objectives. To enhance learning effectiveness, a discussion group consisting of 4-7 participants who meet to discuss course content and assignments is strongly recommended. Full participation in all activities is expected.
